Employee shot inside Queens restaurant; police searching for gunman
NEW YORK -- A man was shot inside a restaurant in Queens on Saturday.
It happened near 36th Avenue and 29th Street in Astoria around 3:30 p.m.
The restaurant was full of customers at the time of the shooting.
The restaurant's owner tells CBS2 the victim is an employee and he was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
Surveillance video from inside the restaurant shows a man wearing a red hoodie walk in and start shooting. Panicked customers can be seen ducking for cover and running out the front door.
So far, no arrests have been made.
